A strategy was then developed with a grants component.A public Positive Body Image inquiry was conducted in 2005 and received submissions from young people, families, teachers, health professionals and the broader community. Following the inquiry, the Victorian Government allocated $2.1 million over four years to a Positive Body Image Strategy (784 kb, pdf) to implement a majority of the recommendations, as part of the 'Go for your life' initiative.
