 | Canteens Advisory Service The Canteens Advisory Service (CAS) has been funded by the Department of Health to support schools with primary school-age children to provide and promote healthy food choices.
The service aims to support schools with the implementation of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development’s School Canteens and Other School Food Services Policy.

|  | Community-based obesity prevention initiatives The Victorian Government has funded several community-based initiatives to prevent obesity.
A number of ‘Go for your life’ projects have been running over recent years, aiming to tackle obesity across a range of communities and ages.
The information gained from these programs will build our knowledge of what works in preventing obesity.
